Operacioni i riatdhesimit të pesë qytetarëve shqiptarë nga Siria verilindore

Më datën 27.10.2020 përfundoi me sukses të plotë operacioni i riatdhesimit të pesë qytetarëve shqiptarë nga Siria verilindore, prej të cilëve katër fëmijë dhe një grua me probleme të theksuara shëndetësore.

Finalizimi i këtij operacioni të rëndësishëm humanitar u bë i mundur falë bashkëpunimit, profesional e serioz si dhe mbështetjes së pakursyer të autoriteteve Libanit, Sirisë dhe atyre Administratës Autonome të Sirisë Veriore dhe Lindore.

Qeveria e Republikës së Shqipërisë shpreh falënderimet më të sinqerta për bashkëpunimin dhe mbështetjen e autoriteteve dhe agjencive të tjera të përfshira në këtë operacion si dhe shpreh besimin se ky bashkëpunim do të vijojë edhe në të ardhmen për të mundësuar kthimin në Shqipëri të të gjithë fëmijëve shqiptarë apo edhe personave të tjerë të cilët nuk kanë kryer krime apo akte të tjera terroriste.

Kthimi i fëmijëve dhe i personave të tjerë të pa përfshirë në akte kriminale apo terroriste është një detyrim humanitar i rëndësishëm, por edhe një kontribut i çmuar në luftën e përbashkët kundër terrorizmit.

On 27.10.2020, the repatriation operation of five Albanian citizens from northeastern Syria was successfully completed, bringing to Albania four children and a woman with severe health problems.

The finalization of this important humanitarian operation was made possible thanks to the cooperation, professional and serious, as well as the unsparing support of the Lebanese, Syrian governments, as well as the Autonomous Administrations of Northern and Eastern Syria.

The Government of the Republic of Albania expresses its sincere thanks for the cooperation and support of the authorities and other agencies involved in this operation, and is confident that this cooperation will continue in the future to enable the return to Albania of all Albanian children, including other persons who have not committed crimes or other terrorist acts.

The return of children and others not involved in criminal or terrorist activities is not only an important humanitarian responsibility, but also a valuable contribution to the joint fight against terrorism.
